Yesterday was a messy day here on the South Shore of NS.Most of the day was taken up with some really wet snow leaving behind a slushy mess on the street.Temps were a couple of degrees above the freezing mark throughout the day.It began to clear in the evening and is all clear here this morning.

Monday..Snow changing to ice pellets then to rain in the afternoon
and ending late in the day then cloudy. Risk of freezing rain late in
the morning and early in the afternoon. Snow and ice pellet amount 5
to 10 cm. Rainfall amount 5 mm. Wind east 30 km/h gusting to 50
becoming northwest 20 gusting to 40 in the afternoon. High plus 3.
