Jan 2,2008

Yesterday was pretty good here for Jan 1 with temps above freezing for the better part of the day.A small disturbance moved into the area in the late evening and we had a short period of light snow which soon changed to rain. The rain was quite heavy throughout the night and most of the snow that was left from other storms is now gone.
This morning the temp is still above freezing, the cloud cover is breaking up and it is quite breezy. The mild temps won't be lasting much longer as a cold air mass is approaching and will soon be in place here.
