Not Bad Here

This morning's weather photo

Yesterday was a mostly miserable day here on the South Shore. We started with freezing rain that lasted until about noon and then the temps began to rise. After a breief period of fog,we started to get some more rain. The rain through the evening was quite heavy by times and temps had risen to +7°.
Having said that,we could have had worse. Some areas of the province had snow before the freezing rain and some had about 9 hours of just freezing rain. There were lots of delays and cancellations reported at Stanfield International Airport near Halifax and numerous traffic mishaps.
Overnight it cleared and temps dropped to near the freezing mark.We are in the clear now with mild temps until the next disturbance arrives on Saturday. The forecast is for rain and/or snow.
