It Sure Is Nice Here

This mornings visual

Yesterday was a much better day than what had been forecast. We hit 14° here in my backyard and there was a fair amount of sunshine throughout the day.
The evening temps dropped to about 3° and held there for the night. Some clouds moved in overnight and it is completely overcast here this morning.
No precip is expected, however, until this evening.Temps are expected to reach the middle teens today.
The revised forecast has sun and warm temps into next week with some rain possible on Tuesday.

BRRRRRR!!!!

This mornings visual

Well it wasn't very nice here yesterday and no better this morning. If anything,it is worse, now the wind is quite brisk as seen in this pic:

Yesterday's temps were in the 5° range and overnight the temp dropped to 1.Some areas were forecast to get flurries overnight but there weren't any in this area to my knowledge.
There's no real improvement in store until Sunday when temperatures should begin to rise to more normal values.

I don't know why but this morning's post didn't get published when I uploaded it by email so here it is:

Yesterday was the last of our nice days for awhile. We had temps around 20° and now it has cooled off considerably and is expected to stay this way for the next few days.

By the looks of the forecast,we won't be having any real good weather again until Monday....they are even mentioning the possibility of wet snow for tonight.
Oh well,it was a pretty good run.

Another Warm Day On The Way

This mornings cam shot

Yesterday was once again a very fine day (how many is that now?) and things are really starting to green up here.Temps were in the mid-teens in the afternoon and it was generally clear. The evening temps dropped to just slightly above freezing and it remained clear.
Today is expected to be an exceptionally nice day here with temps forecast to be in the upper teens, may hit the lower 20s.Showers are possble later today and into tomorrow with clearing tomorrow afternoon and staying warm.
They are still saying it will be cooler in the latter part of the week.I don't entirely concur with that.....the New England weather is calling for warm weather and that usually influnences ours.We shall see what happens.
