We are currently having our usual January cold snap.The cold air mass is covering most of North America with near or below freezing temperatures reaching as far south as the Louisiana coast and into parts of northern Florida.
Temps began yesterday on the plus side and dropped through the day to -13°C by midnight.We had it all yesterday...fog,rain,snow and sun.
The cold weather is expected to stay though the weekend and then it's back to milder temps with a possibility of rain or snow on Monday.

The high on my thermometer yesterday was +2°C.

Clear
Calm.

The forecast:
Today
Day: Sunny with cloudy periods. High minus 11.
Night: Increasing cloudiness. Periods of light snow beginning this evening and ending overnight. Wind becoming north 20 km/h this evening. Low minus 22. Cold wind chill minus 33.

Sunny. Wind north 20 km/h becoming light in the morning. High minus 15. Cold wind chill minus 33.
