Temps were a degree or two above freezing yesterday and it was damp.There was very little melting and ice on road surfaces,walkway,etc. were a problem.Temps held at 0°C overnight and it was quite foggy.This morning there are reports of very slippery roads and numerous accidents caused by the fog freezing on the roads.A slight increase in temps is expected today with rain expected.

The high on my thermometer yesterday was +2°C.

Day: Periods of rain. Amount 10 to 15 mm. Fog patches. Wind becoming southwest 20 km/h this afternoon. High plus 5.
Night: Periods of rain changing to a few flurries overnight. Fog patches dissipating this evening. Wind southwest 20 km/h becoming northwest 30 gusting to 50 this evening. Low minus 1.
Friday
A few flurries ending in the morning then cloudy. Wind northwest 30 km/h. Temperature falling to minus 9 in the afternoon.
