Waiting....

Yesterday was a really nice day here with afternoon temps reaching +9°C.Not too bad for February and a lot more of the ice in my driveway and backyard has melted away.
However,right now we are waiting for a big storm to arrive.
Winter storm warning for Queens County continued Total snowfall amounts between 15 and 25 centimetres along with freezing rain an ice pellets today and tonight.
I don't think we will see those amounts here on the coast with the current temp above freezing and the long range radar is showing mostly rain.

The current long range radar.Green indicates rain.

The high on my thermometer yesterday was +9°C.
Currently(8AM):
+1°C
Overcast
Light snow/rain mix
Wind is calm.
