Yesterday was a mainly cool and overcast day here with the occasional passing flurry. It began to clear in the late night and temps dropped to the -10°C area.
The next few days are expected to be mostly sunny and cool and then rain with warmer temps are on the way for the weekend.
Monday's storm was mostly rain here and with few problems. That was not the case in other areas. Some areas in northern NS are still without power and there were some incidents of flooding from ice jams damming rivers.
From the Chronicle Herald:
'The power began going out in Cumberland County around 8 p.m. Monday and "really escalated between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. (Tuesday)," she said. "And it was just Cumberland County. It was in a completely different climatic zone than the rest of the province."

The power went out in Amherst, Springhill, Oxford, Parrsboro, Pugwash, Wentworth, River Hebert and the rural areas in between. At 3 p.m. Tuesday, just under 14,000 customers were without power, many for more than 15 hours.

Oxford residents were being urged to conserve water after a power outage turned off the pumps that supply the town. The storm also disrupted telephone and Internet service to the county.

And police were urging motorists to drive with caution because of the icy road conditions.

Tree limbs were crashing down everywhere along Amherst streets.'

The high on my thermometer yesterday was 0°C.
