Yesterday was a warm day here but a bit damp.We had hazy sunshine for most of the day until rain moved into the area in the late afternoon.The rain became quite heavy in the late night and it's still raining quite hard here this morning.

This is a warning that significant rainfall is expected in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements.
A low pressure system approaching from the west will track slowly south of Nova Scotia today. Rainfall amounts of over 30 millimetres have fallen over southwestern Nova Scotia. Additional rainfall amounts of up to 20 millimetres are expected today over the southwestern and the remainder of mainland Nova Scotia. A mixed bag of rain snow ice pellets with the risk of freezing rain is forecast over much of the province today and tonight as temperatures hover near the freezing mark. Over northern Nova Scotia 15 to 25 centimetres of snow is forecast for this afternoon and tonight.
In addition Les Suetes winds with easterly gusts to 100 km/h are forecast to continue through the day.

Temps are expected to drop through the day and some snow is possible for tonight and tomorrow.

A few rain showers changing to periods of snow overnight. Local snowfall amount 2 cm. Wind northeast 30 km/h gusting to 50 becoming north 30 gusting to 50 overnight. Low plus 1.
Tuesday
A few flurries or rain showers ending in the morning then clearing. Wind north 30 km/h gusting to 50. High plus 4.
