Heat continues and Hurricane Bill

The heat continues on the south shore.I recorded a high of +32°C here in the late afternoon yesterday.The evening was mild and clear until about 10PM when fog moved inland.Overnight temps remained mild and it is still a little foggy here this morning but that is burning off quite quickly.Another hot day is in store.

The 2 day forecast:

  • Today

Sunny with cloudy periods. 40 percent chance of showers this afternoon

with the risk of a thundershower. Fog patches dissipating this morning.

Wind becoming southwest 20 km/h this afternoon.

High 32. UV index 8 or very high.

  • Tonight

Cloudy periods with 40 percent chance of showers early this evening

then clear. Risk of a thundershower. Wind southwest 20 km/h becoming

light this evening. Low 20.

  • Wednesday

Sunny in the morning then a mix of sun and cloud with 40 percent chance

of showers in the afternoon and early in the evening. Risk of a thundershower.

Wind becoming southwest 20 km/h in the afternoon.

High 31.

 

We are currently keeping a close eye on Bill,now a Cat 2 hurricane.Some models are bringing it very close to our area in the next 5 days.
