            Yesterday was a sunny day with temps reaching +22°C here.It was also very windy for most of the day.The wind died out in the early evening and temps dropped to the lower double digits.

            Rain is forecast for the next few days but there are no signs of that yet.It is currently only partly cloudy and there are only a few small pockets of showers showing up on the radar.

·         Today -- Cloudy. Rain beginning this morning. Amount 10 mm. Fog patches developing this afternoon. Wind becoming southwest 20 km/h gusting to 40 near noon then becoming southeast 20. High 12.

·         Tonight -- Rain ending late this evening then cloudy periods. Risk of thundershowers this evening. Amount 10 to 15 mm. Fog patches dissipating overnight. Wind southeast 20 km/h gusting to 40 becoming southwest 30 gusting to 50 near midnight. Low 7.

·         Sunday -- Cloudy with sunny periods. 40 percent chance of showers. Wind west 30 km/h becoming southwest 30 gusting to 50 in the morning then west 20 in the evening. High 10.

·         Monday -- Cloudy with 40 percent chance of showers. Low 6. High 9.

Today's Weather Trivia:

May 8,1901: At noon, lightning struck the Bullock School, about 8 km from Beebe-Plain, QC. The teacher was at dinner and escaped. About a dozen people in the building were all more or less injured. Two girls who were sitting together had their hair burned and their shoes torn from their feet.
