Today's Weather Trivia:

June 18,2008: Two men from Vancouver attempting a 17-day trek in the Rockies were stranded by poor weather for almost 3 weeks. The climbers summited Mount Robson battling the elements and eating snow to stay alive. A Parks Canada helicopter was sputtering in the thin air. Just as the pilot was ready to give up he spotted the pair, incoherent and struggling just to walk. – Excerpt from 'The Canadian Weather Trivia Calendar' by David Phillips. © Environment Canada
