We had a warm day here yesterday but it was very windy.There were reports of some wind damage throughout the province,power failures and also a few small woods fires.The high temp was 22°C.The wind died down in the early evening and it was clear with temps in the upper teens.

Today is expected to be quite warm and sunny.A little rain is on the way for tomorrow, clearing on Friday with very hot weather moving in to end the week.

Today -- Sunny. Wind becoming west 20 km/h gusting to 40 this morning then becoming southwest 20 this afternoon. High 24. UV index 9 or very high.

 Tonight -- Increasing cloudiness early this evening. Wind becoming southwest 20 km/h near midnight. Low 12.

 Thursday -- Rain ending in the afternoon then cloudy with 40 percent chance of showers. Risk of thundershowers in the afternoon and evening. Amount 10 to 20 mm. Fog patches. Wind southeast 20 km/h becoming light near noon. High 16.

 Friday -- Sunny. Low 12. High 28.
