It was a very hot day here yesterday with temps in the shade reaching into the upper 20°Cs.The day was mostly clear with some clouds moving in in the evening.Evening temps were in the lower 20°Cs and overnight they dropped a few degrees to the mid-teens.
Today is expected to be another very warm day with temps in the upper 20s.The warm weather will be with us for most of the week with a slight break for us in the mid-week.

4 July 1898: During a thunderstorm, lightning struck and shattered a house in Cavendish, PE. Two visitors sitting on either side of the owner were killed instantly. Incredibly, the owner escaped injury, but his wife received a shock.
