Today's Weather Trivia:

24 March 1875: One of the most violent gales ever witnessed in Chilliwack, BC, commenced about noon. Large trees were uprooted and tree trunks shattered as if they were pipe stems. A new trunk road was entirely blocked by fallen timber. The telegraph line had its share of downed poles and wires. A barn and the frame of a new dwelling were toppled and a few 100 roof shakes were blown away. -Excerpt from 'The Canadian Weather Trivia Calendar' by David Phillips. © Environment Canada

The Moon follows a bright star across the sky in the wee hours tomorrow: Antares, the "heart" of Scorpius. The Moon itself is actually in the neighboring constellation Ophiuchus, the 13th constellation of the zodiac.
