The cool weather continued yesterday with afternoon temps only near +4C along with a few flurries in the air.The evening was overcast with temps dropping to a few degrees below freezing overnight.

More cool weather is expected today and through the weekend.Flurries are a possibility for the next few days.Very little change is expected next week as the cool weather continues through the early part of Spring.

Flurries ending in the morning then a mix of sun and cloud with 40 percent chance of flurries. Wind becoming west 30 km/h gusting to 50 near noon. High plus 1.

A mix of sun and cloud. Low minus 3. High zero.

The brightest star in the night sky has some teeth to it. It's the Dog Star, Sirius, part of the constellation Canis Major, the big dog. Sirius is well up in the south at nightfall, with most of the other bright stars of Canis Major stretching below it.
