Today's Weather Trivia:
1892: For 5 minutes, Thunder Bay, ON, was in an uproar-loose lumber, boxes,
and barrels flying everywhere-as a tornado struck. Winds knocked the
framework for a new hotel 0.5 m out of plumb, tore down signs and awnings,
blew out windows, dashed an old smokestack, and felled transmission poles.
In the 3 churches holding services during the gale, consternation prevailed
in the congregations.
