Today's Weather Trivia:
1972: A tornado touched down on the west side of Maniwaki, QC. A mother and
her son were killed when their mobile home was tossed nearly 100 m. Losses
exceeded $1 million, as 6 homes were destroyed, 15 others were damaged, and
50 new cars were piled into a heap. A house with 4 people was dropped onto a
neighbour's roof. Many townspeople were saved because they were away,
attending mass.
