Today's weather trivia: 27 November
2009: At Shippagan, NB, officials tried to take the 2010 Olympic torch
aboard a boat for a harbour tour, but they had to cancel the trip because of
high winds that caused the flame to flicker perilously as it was carried
across New Brunswick's north shore. Yet, the cold and rain did not dampen
the spirits of supporters who lined the normally quiet, 2-lane highway
between Miramichi and Fredericton, NB.
