Yesterday was a typical early winter day with cool temps and a few scattered
light flurries.Flurry activity picked up overnight and there was enough to
cover the ground.A few more flurries are expected before it clears this
afternoon.The weather is looking good for Christmas and Boxing days but it
may turn a little stormy towards the end of the week.



Today's Forecast: Today..Flurries ending this morning then mainly cloudy
with

40 percent chance of flurries. A few showers along parts of the

coast early this morning. Local amount 2 cm. Wind northwest 30 km/h

gusting to 50. Temperature falling to minus 3 this afternoon.

Tonight..Clearing this evening. Wind northwest 20 km/h becoming light

overnight. Low minus 5.

Tuesday..Increasing cloudiness early in the morning. Wind becoming

north 20 km/h in the afternoon. High plus 1.





Marine Forecast: Wind west 20 to 25 knots diminishing to northwest 10 to 15
overnight.

1963: In Ontario, a woman testified she felt a bump while driving a car in
swirling snow on a road where the body of her husband was found. She said
she was returning home from a party after her husband had left, choosing to
walk home. She pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident. Police
said the car tracks showed the vehicle had driven around the body after
running over it and backing away
