Yesterday was pretty decent with temps running just a bit below the freezing
point. The evening was clear and calm.Temps will be near 0 today as much
warmer air moves into the area over the next couple of days.

Tonight..Increasing cloudiness. Wind becoming south 20 km/h
overnight. Low minus 7 with temperature rising to zero by morning.
Wednesday..Cloudy. Periods of rain beginning early in the morning and
ending late in the afternoon. Rain mixed with ice pellets early in
the morning. Rainfall amount 2 to 4 mm. Fog developing in the
evening. Wind south 30 km/h gusting to 50. High 9.

 Today's weather trivia: 29 January 2008: The bodies of two sisters, one 3
and the other 1, were discovered yesterday in the Yellow Quill First Nation
community (SK). Police searched for them after their father, found
hypothermic and frostbitten, asked about them 8 hours later. It was -35°C
with a -50 windchill when he set out with the girls, who were dressed in
diapers and T-shirts. The father faces charges of criminal negligence
causing death.
