 Today's weather trivia: 12 March 2007: Parks Canada issued extreme
avalanche warnings for parts of Banff and Yoho national parks in the Rocky
Mountains. Mudslides, avalanches, and high winds closed area highways. A
snowboarder lost north of Lake Louise, AB, spent a night in a fierce
snowstorm before being found. The Canmore, AB, man took a wrong turn amid
heavy snowfall and ended up off course in a nearby valley.
