Yesterday was quire uneventful weatherwise with seasonable temps and only a
few flurries in the evening.Hard to believe that one year ago temps were
near +30C.
More flurries are on the way for today and tomorrow and a mostly overcast
weekend is expected.There's a possibility that we may see the sun again on
Monday.

Today's weather trivia: 22 March 1895: A tug with barge in tow left
Victoria, BC, for Haddington Island, BC, to procure stone for the new
Parliament buildings in Victoria. About 3 km from Trial Islands, BC, the
steamer encountered a storm and sank. Four crew members were washed away and
drowned. Another swam to shore half-frozen but survived. Another stayed by
the wreck. His body was recovered hanging drowned in the water.
